We believe that progress and opportunities are best created together. Welcome to a place where collaboration makes a difference!

Your Role

As a ZTNA Operations Technician, you are responsible for the daily technical operations, management, and further development of our Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) platform. The role is operational and hands-on, focusing on stability, security, user experience, and incident/problem management, with close collaboration with network, IAM, and security functions.

The team you will join is geographically distributed across several locations in Sweden. Possible locations for this role are Linköping, Malmö, Solna, or Gothenburg.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Incident, Problem, and Change Management

  • Participate in and drive incident management with clear communication and escalation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and create improvement plans.
  • Plan and implement changes according to the change process (CAB), including risk assessment, testing, and rollback plans.

Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor service health, capacity, and performance (e.g., connectors, policy enforcement, latency, etc.).
  • Handle alarms and deviations and drive actions to reduce recurring incidents.
  • Ensure the platform is correctly configured and updated according to best practices.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Troubleshoot end-to-end: client → identity → policy → connector → application.
  • Support the Service Desk with runbooks, known errors, and improved triage.
  • Act as the technical contact for vendors/support (e.g., Zscaler) as needed.

Documentation & Improvement Work

  • Create and maintain operational documentation: runbooks, SOPs, onboarding guides, error catalogs.
  • Drive continuous improvements in monitoring, logging, incident routines, and operational stability.
  • Contribute to standardization and "operational excellence".

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience in operational IT operations within areas such as networking, security, or platforms. You have likely previously worked in IT support roles, preferably in regulated environments.

As a person, you are proactive and solution-oriented with a good ability to handle and prioritize tasks even in pressured situations. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, especially regarding security, quality, and documentation.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need strong communication and collaboration skills. You are accustomed to working cross-functionally and can clearly and pedagogically explain technical information to people with varying levels of knowledge.

We believe you have:

  • Experience with ITIL processes: incident/problem/change.
  • Good troubleshooting skills: networking (DNS, TCP/UDP, routing), TLS/certificates, authentication.
  • Ability to document clearly and work structured in a regulated environment.

Advantageous:

  • Experience with Zscaler (ZPA, ZIA, ZDX, ZIdentity) or similar ZTNA solutions.
  • Experience with IAM: Azure AD/Entra ID, SAML/OIDC, MFA, Conditional Access, SCIM.
  • Logging/monitoring: SIEM (e.g., Sentinel/Splunk), observability, dashboards, and alarms.
  • Understanding of SD-WAN and how traffic flows affect ZTNA performance.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
